English speaking students and young professionals get the opportunity to study business during a three-week course with lectures held in Shanghai and Beijing. The China Business School is organized by CBL International in cooperation with the School of Economics and Management at Tongji University Shanghai.

English speaking students get the opportunity to study Chinese and International business law during the three-week course. No previous study of law is necessary. Students of all fields can take part, especially students of law, Asian-studies, business or political science. The students will attend Logistics, Supply Chain Management, Capital Markets, Intellectual Property Law, Marketing und Start-up in China.

Academics, lawyers and managers will also discuss with the participants areas of law and business practices that are essential for every economic activity in China. Additionally, the main features of the Chinese and Asian arbitrage will be described.

Lecturers from abroad: in addition to some of the most well-known academics in Shanghai, Beijing and China, we have invited lecturers of prestigious institutions from around the world.

World Expo: In 2010 Shanghai will host the biggest World Expo ever. With certainty, it will be the largest exhibition the world has ever seen and will ever see. There will probably be no comparable event of this magnitude in the future! Therefore, we have decided to make the Expo 2010 part of our programme schedule. But that is not all: due to our close cooperation with various national pavillions (USA, Germany, Austria, Luxembourg, Ireland, Switzerland or India and Australia) we will, additionally, offer exclusive events, keynote speeches and guided tours. A visit to the World Expo 2010 will be the event highlight of the year, that should not be missed.

With the waning of the financial crisis, questions regarding sustainable accounting are heatedly discussed. In line with the modernization of the system, experts from our corporate partner, Deloitte Touche Tohmatsu, led us know that in the future companies in China will have to balance their books according to Chinese and international regulations.

Time and time again, companies have debated the ideal moment to enter the Chinese market. During our visit of the German Center, whose tenants include, among many others, Google and Ebay, Christian Sommer, CEO & Chairman will give us an answer to this frequently discussed question.

An age old stereotype: you cannot protect your patents and brands in China! In order to get expert insights, first hand, we have come up with a special workshop to shine a light on intellectual property rights protection in China. Shanghai's top law firm in this field, Rouse & Co. International is co-hosting this event with us.

Beijing: A visit to China should always include a visit to Beijing - the capital, political centre, and historic city of China. For this reason, we have included a trip to Beijing, where we will enjoy free time to tour many unforgettable sights, listen to academic scholars and visit companies.

Furthermore, there will be visits to foreign-owned small businesses, multi-national corporations, international law firms, excursions in and around Shanghai and an introduction to the Chinese language and culture.
