To whom is the CBL International India Law School addressed?
CBL International India Law School is a programme specifically designed for students and
young professionals with a strong interest in international business and the development in Asia.
Since the lectures focus mainly on business and law and foreign enterprises in India, it is appealing
to both undergraduate and graduate students particularly from the fields of law and business/management
and young professionals.
Since when does CBL International India Law School take place?
CBL International India Law School will take place for the first time in 2011, so you will be the
first ones to discover this combination of learning, grasping a different culture and travelling in India with CBL.
The experiences we made with previous summer schools in China, Dubai, Oxford and Riga will help us though to offer
you an unforgettable journey. CBL International Schools have a very successful history, starting in China.
Since 2006 CBL International is organizing Law & Business Schools in Shanghai and, later on, also in Beijing. In July 2008,
the CBL International Oxford Summer Law School hosted students from all over the world in England, Europe. In August 2008 the
first CBL International Riga Business School was organized in Latvia, in Eastern Europe; and in December 2008 the first
CBL International Dubai Business School started and show the students the exciting atmosphere of the Middle East.
Which language are the lectures in?
The CBL International India Business School is hold in English.
Will there be mandatory examinations as part of CBL International India Law School?
A business-plan competition will be part of the programme, with the results to be mentioned on the score sheet
every delegate will receive at the end. A language test as part of the introduction into the Hindi language will be held.
Do I receive a certificate for the participation in CBL International India Law School?
Yes, the staff will hand out a one-sided participation certificate at the end of the program. This presupposes that 90%
of all meetings were in fact attended. The certificate will list the groups of topics, for which instruction units were offered,
as well as all other activities, in which the student participated.
Is previous knowledge necessary before applying?
No, previous knowledge is not necessarily required. Concerning some of the modules,
which are taught by renowned lecturers from various international institutions, it is possible
that the content appears broad and many issues of which the participant has no prior knowledge will be addressed.
