Riga is the capital of Latvia and is situated at the Baltic Sea coast on the mouth of river Daugava. It is the largest city in the Baltic States. The city of Riga, which was founded over 800 years ago, and its people impress visitors with its typical Latvian undemanding and cheerful attitude. The magnificent medieval centre should not be missed.
